Steadfast Faith

Steadfast Faith

Weekly Update – November 5th, 2020

Dear Church Family,

We are living in a difficult time right now. That is not something I need to tell you though. You have seen the effects of Covid-19, you are living in uncertainty of the presidential election, and perhaps you are experiencing or have experienced your own sufferings over the past several months. During these times it is imperative for us to remember what it is that we talked about on Sunday. Let me recap it for you briefly. In Job 13:15, we saw Job’s faith remain steadfast through his trials in his proclamation of three truths: 1. God is in control. 2. God is good. 3. There is Hope in a Savior. Therefore, whether it be uncertainty, difficulties, hardships or trials, these three truths are necessary for us to remember. Remembering these truths allow us to see even in the midst of the darkness around us. If you missed this from Sunday, I would encourage you to take a listen HERE.

This week we be back in our series in the Sermon on the Mount. We will look at Matthew 5:31-37 as we consider the call to be “Faithful in Commitments.” I hope that you will join us in person or via livestream.

Serving Him with You,
Pastor Michael Nelson
