Fall Festival
This year’s Fall Festival will take place at the church on October 31st from 5-7pm. Activities include a Trunk or Treat, chili dogs, a fire pit, and games. Sign-ups for volunteering are in the church hall.

Men’s Retreat
November 6-7th, the men will be returning to God’s Mountain Camp for their annual retreat. The cost is $45. Sign-ups in the hall. Theme and speaker TBD.

Ladies’ Dinner
On September 29th from 5-9pm, the ladies will be having dinner and attending Beholding Christ, with Nancy Guthrie at Ascend Church in Olathe, KS. Tickets are $10. Sign-ups in the hall.

Evening Service
Our evening services occur every 2nd Sunday of the month. Join us as we come together for missional prayer and to hear preaching from various church members. This year’s focus will be the book of Philippians!

Church Workday
On Saturday, September 5th at 8:00am there will be an all-church work day. Come and help us clean, make minor repairs, and get our building ready for all of the fall activities that will take place.

Ladies Bible Study
Starting on September 8th, the ladies will begin a new study through Romans titled “In View of God’s Mercies.” Sessions are available every Tuesday at 9:30am or 6:00pm. Sign-up in the hall or see Sheryl Nelson for more info.

Members’ Meeting
Our 2nd Quarter members’ meeting will be held after service on Sunday, March 29th. Please come and engage with what God is doing through the church, help make important decisions, and care for other members. A snack bar will precede.

Annual Church Picnic
This year, our end-of-summer church picnic will be on Sunday, September 27th at 5pm. We will be having this at Mapleview Park in Grandview. Members are encouraged to bring a dish for the potluck. We hope you are excited for food, fellowship, and fun!

Evangelism Workshop
Join us Sunday, August 16th for an evangelism workshop with Brent Longenecker from the Missouri Baptist Convention. The workshop will encompass three sessions: 9:15am, 10:30am, and 6:00pm. Make plans to come and be better equipped to personally fulfill the Great Commission!

Clothing Giveaway
The Clothes Closet will be open 8am-11am on Saturday, August 15th. Anyone from Grandview and the surrounding community is welcome to attend, free of charge. If you would like to volunteer to help out, just show up and we’ll put you to work!
