Our 2nd Quarter members’ meeting will be held after service on Sunday, March 29th. Please come and engage with what God is doing through the church, help make important decisions, and care for other members. A snack bar will precede.

Annual Church Picnic
This year, our end-of-summer church picnic will be on Sunday, September 6th at 5pm. We will be having this at Mapleview Park in Grandview. Members are encouraged to bring a dish for the potluck. We hope you are excited for food, fellowship, and fun!

Evangelism Workshop
Join us Sunday, August 16th for an evangelism workshop with Brent Longenecker from the Missouri Baptist Convention. The workshop will encompass three sessions: 9:15am, 10:30am, and 6:00pm. Make plans to come and be better equipped to personally fulfill the Great Commission!

Soccer Camp
First Baptist Church is partnering with Sports Crusaders this summer to host a soccer camp on June 29th-July 3rd. Kindergarten through 2nd grade will meet from 9:00am-11:00am and 3rd grade through 6th grade will meet from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Sports Crusaders offers enriching sports camps for youth, emphasizing both athletic skills and Christian values. Participants engage in stretching, skill development, and games, highlighted by “Half-Time” sessions that meld sportsmanship with faith lessons. Vacation Bible School: Illumination Station
Every year in the summer, First Baptist Church hosts its annual Vacation Bible School. We offer teaching, crafts, snacks, games, missions and music all centered around one biblical theme. With focused attention given to every age group, we welcome all children entering Kindergarten – entering 6th grade. Registration can be found HERE. This year’s theme will be “Illumination Station” Vacation Bible School will run 5:45pm-8:00pm – July 6th-10th. We will serve dinner those evenings at 5:15pm.

Harry’s Hay Days
Saturday, May 2nd from 10am-4pm we will be participating in Harry’s Hay Days. This is a unique outreach opportunity to engage our community with the gospel and invite them to our church. Please consider coming to serve and engage Grandview.
