Thanksgiving Potluck Lunch
On Sunday, November 16th, immediately following our morning service, we will have our annual Thanksgiving Potluck dinner in the Faith Center Gym. The church will provide turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls and drinks. You will bring the sides and desserts. Bring a dish to share and enjoy this time of fellowship as we reflect on God’s blessings this year.

Faith & Jake’s Baby Brunch
On October 18th at 11am, the FBC family is invited to a brunch in celebration of Faith and Jake’s “little pumpkin” on the way. For those bringing a gift, it is requested that they remain unwrapped. RSVP to Katy Norman at 816-817-9256.

Fall Festival 2025
On Sunday, October 26th from 5:00-7:00pm, we will host a Fall Festival at the church. We will have trunk or treat, dessert, hot chocolate and a fire pit. Help us fill up our candy barrel before the event, and sign up in the hall to help on that night.

Ladies’ Bible Study
All ladies are invited to attend our Bible study as we journey together through the book of Proverbs. This will be an 8-week series and will utilize the personal workbook, The Way of Wisdom. The study will meet every Tuesday, with a morning time at 9:30am and an evening time at 6:00pm. If you have any questions, you can reach out to Sheryl Nelson or Melody Singleton.

Ladies’ FTC Conference
On Monday, September 29th from 9am-12:30pm, our ladies will be headed to Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to attend a conference led by Jen Wilkin. Hosted by the Midwestern Women’s Institute, this event is designed to equip you in your biblical literacy while connecting you with like-minded women. The cost will be $25. Sign-up sheet is to come. Potluck & Member’s Meeting
Immediately following the worship service on July 27th, we will be having a potluck lunch. Sign-ups for bringing a dish are on the bulletin board. After the potluck, all members will gather back in the sanctuary for our quarterly meeting.

McNally Baby Shower
A baby shower in honor of Kim McNally will be held on July 19th, starting at 1pm in the Fellowship Hall. See Rachel Eze for more details.

2025 Annual Men’s Retreat
This Fall, the men of FBC will be returning to God’s Mountain for their annual retreat. The theme this year is “Servanthood,” and it will be a weekend focused on connecting with other men, biblical exhortation, and well-cooked meat. The cost per individual is $45.

Rachel & Nate’s Wedding
The First Baptist Church family is invited to attend the wedding ceremony of Rachel Martin and Nate Johnson. This joyful occasion will be held on Saturday June 28th at the church. The ceremony begins at 3pm with a reception to follow.

Church Picnic 2025
We will meet for our annual church picnic at 5pm on Sunday, June 29th. This will be a potluck dinner at Maple View Park. Bring a lawn chair and be sure to sign up in the bulletin board on the hall.

Vacation Bible School: Magnified
Every year in the summer, First Baptist Church hosts its annual Vacation Bible School. We offer teaching, crafts, snacks, games, missions and music all centered around one biblical theme. With focused attention given to every age group, we welcome all children entering Kindergarten – entering 6th grade. Registration can be found HERE. This year’s theme will be “Magnified.” Vacation Bible School will run 5:45pm-8:00pm – June 16th-20th. We will serve dinner those evenings at 5:15pm.
