Weekly Update – February 18th, 2021
Well, lets try this again. Last Sunday we called off all activities due to snow, extreme temperatures and slick conditions. We were planning to have Sam Bierig with us to preach. Thankfully Sam is willing to join us this Sunday instead. Sam will be preaching for us from the book of Jonah. He is married with three kids and serves as the Dean of Spurgeon College at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. If you would like to know more about him, you can check him out HERE. I trust that you will be blessed by him.
Again, this week we will have Sam Bierig preaching for us. I hope that you will join us in person or via livestream.

Announcements:
Food Pantry: By God’s grace, on a regular basis we have been able to serve our community in a very practical way by providing food for those in need. Currently we have a need for a handful of items to continue this ministry. You can find a list of those items HERE. Feel free to drop non-perishable food items in the basket in the foyer.
Ladies’ Bible Study: Ladies, join us for a Bible study through the book of Colossians starting on February 22nd at 6:30pm. The study will be a video based study led by Sheryl Nelson. There is a sign up sheet in the hallway, or sign up by contacting the church office. You can find more information HERE.
Health Guidelines: With no changes from the Health Department, we will continue in Phase 2.5 here in Jackson County. That means masks are still required. Awana
Every Sunday at 5:45pm, children ages 3 years to 6th grade are invited to join us for Awana. You can view our health guidelines for this ministry HERE.
Bible Study
We are currently in a study through the book of Galatians. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall on Sundays at 9:15am. You can find a video explaining what to expect during our Bible Study hour HERE.
