Who Is Your One?

Weekly Update – February 26th, 2026  On Sunday, we were challenged to consider one person in our life who we could intentionally seek out, with the goal of sharing the gospel with, over the remaining part of this year. We called this initiative, Who is Your One? Everyone was given a bookmark with 30 different verses on it, along with a card at the end of that bookmark that is meant to be torn off with the name of your “one” written down on it. Weekly Update – February 19th, 2026  For the last month or so, we have been exhorted by Jesus to consider our life in light of the end. We began in Luke 12:13-21 with a man who asked Jesus to judge between he and his brother about the inheritance of their father (Lk. 12:13).  Jesus, seeing right through this demand, warned him about his soul (Lk. 12:20) and called him to consider eternity rather than worldly possessions. While over 40% of Americans still read at least one book a month, the average time spent per day on reading has dropped by 7 minutes, from 23 minutes to 16 minutes per day.
