Volunteer Expectations…
Two volunteers are needed to run each age group in the nursery. If there are only two or three volunteers present on a given Sunday, the 2-4 year old class will be cancelled and the 0-1 year old class can still meet.
Volunteers Must…
- Be active church members
- Have a current background check on file with the church
- Serve in the nursery no more than 3 Sundays in a month
- Actively attend service when not volunteering in the nursery
- Follow the nursery guidelines as described in the church Child Protection Policy
Volunteering Includes…
- Assisting with attendance recording and check-in as children arrive
- Maintaining accurate allergy information for children
- Maintaining up-to-date contact information for families of children
- Clearly communicating with the church office any changes to the volunteer schedule
