Everyone is encouraged to come help clean up the church building. We will have lots of projects from repairs to cleaning that will fit all skill levels. Thank you for helping to maintain our church building!

The seasonal ladies’ Bible study will begin on Tuesday, September 10th. Sessions will be offered at 9:30am and 6:00pm.  A 10-Session Bible Study by Jen Wilkin Revelation shouldn’t leave us fearful or confused, but its imagery and concepts often confound our modern ears. If all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, though, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Awana Bible Club for children 4 years-6th grade meets on Wednesdays throughout the school year. Children are invited to come for dinner at 6pm before Awana at 6:30pm. Click the register button to begin registration for your child or scan the QR code.

We will meet for our annual church picnic at 5pm on Sunday, June 30th. This will be a potluck dinner at Freedom Park (on the corner of 13th and Jones). Be sure to sign up in the bulletin board on the hall.

All ladies of the church are invited to the Larson Home at 10am on Saturday, May 18th, for a potluck brunch and a time of crafting. Please bring a food item for the brunch and your knitting, crocheting, or other craft project to work on after the meal. Contact Cassie Larson for the address (816) 665-0688.

There will be a baby shower honoring Rachel Eze at 1pm on Saturday, April 20th. All ladies of the church are invited to attend as Kamto and Rachel Eze prepare for the arrival of their baby girl. Rachel and Kamto are registered on Amazon.

Every year in July, First Baptist Church hosts its annual Vacation Bible School.  We offer teaching, crafts, snacks, games, missions and music all centered around one biblical theme.  With focused attention given to every age group, we welcome all children entering Kindergarten – entering 6th grade. Vacation Bible School will run 5:45pm-8:00pm – July 8th-12th. We will serve dinner those evenings at 5:15pm.  To register your child for this event, go HERE.
