Scott has been a part of First Baptist Church since his birth in 1966. He professed faith in Jesus Christ in his 5th grade Sunday School class and was baptized here in 1983. Scott married his wife Trisha in 1988, and they now have four wonderful children and seven spoiled grandchildren with two more on the way. He started his own baseball card business, which he still owns and operates today in Overland Park, KS. At FBC, Scott serves as an elder and pre-school teacher. In the past he has helped with various ministries, including a basketball ministry for young men in Grandview. Scott is passionate about seeing the church rooted in gospel-centered teaching and preaching, particularly our expository preaching.
