Clothes Closet

Clothes Closet

The Clothes Closet will be open 8am-11am on Saturday, May 17th. Anyone from Grandview and the surrounding community is welcome to attend, free of charge. We will not be taking appointments before this date. Thank you!

Donations are accepted on Wednesdays between 1pm and 3pm (weather depending). Please do not leave anything outside. Donations will NOT be accepted on Wednesday, May 14th, as we will be preparing for Saturday.

Appointments: If you would like to make an appointment to receive clothing from the Clothes Closet, please leave your name and phone number with the church office. A volunteer will then contact you to set up an appointment. The Clothes Closet is opened to the public as soon as our tables are full – so keep an eye out for the banner by the church parking lot, across from the Main Street post office.

Donations: New and gently used shoes, clothes, linens, and small household items are accepted.  Donations are accepted on Wednesdays between 1pm and 3pm (weather depending). You may knock on the door if the lights are on and a volunteer should be able to assist you in unloading. If the light is not on or if no one answers the door, please call the office (816) 763-2200 and someone will come down to help you. Please do not leave anything outside. We are not able to pick items up from your home.

Here are some items that we do NOT accept:
Ripped, torn, or stained clothing
Children’s toys that are broken or in bad shape
Electronics (such as printers, TVs, DVD players, game systems)
Large furniture items (couches, mattresses, heavy furniture pieces)

Thank you for helping make this resource possible to Grandview and the surrounding communities!
