Harry’s Hay Days – 2023
We are in need of volunteers for Harry’s Hay Days on Saturday, May 6th. The city will be providing the inflatables and more, but we need to staff the event. Volunteer shifts will be for 2 hour segments at 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, and 2pm-4pm. A signup sheet will be available on the bulletin board in the hall soon! We invite you to join us for Easter Sunday, April 9th. We will start the morning with a potluck breakfast in the Faith Center Gym at 9am before heading into the Sanctuary for morning worship at 10:30am.

Elder Q&A
On March 12th at 6:00pm, there will be a question and answer time for prospective elders. The men who are being nominated are Clint Blankenship, Scott Neal and David Hutchison. If you have a question that you would like asked that evening, please submit it to to the offering box or to the office before that date.

Nursing Home Ministry
Once a month, First Baptist Church will conduct a worship service at the Village at Carroll Park off of Truman Road. The first service will be held this Sunday, February 26th, at 1:00pm. It will be a shortened service (about 25 minutes) with a few hymns and a message preached. Service will be held in the Dining Room. All are welcome to come.

Guest Speaker: Dr. Alexander Granados
Dr. Alexander Granados, president of Calvary University, will be preaching for us this Sunday (2/26). Dr. Granados has been the president of Calvary University since January 2021. He is originally from Bogota, Columbia and has served in numerous capacities in higher education. He and his wife, Dorian, have two daughters. You can go HERE to learn more about Dr. Granados.

Clothes Closet
The Clothes Closet will be open to the public 8am – 11am on Saturday, February 25th. Masks are required and no children are allowed at this event. We have clothes, shoes, small household items, and some linens available. We will not be making appointments or taking donations until after this event. Thank you! On Sunday night, February 12th, we will get together at the church to cheer on our Chiefs as we watch The Super Bowl together. Bring a favorite super bowl snack or dessert and join us at 5:00pm. Invite a friend to come along with you too!
