Men’s Outing
On Tuesday, September 6th, a group of men from the church will be going axe throwing at Woodchux Axe Throwing in Liberty, MO. We will carpool up there and plan to leave the church around 6:15pm.

Home Groups
Home groups will meet at the Hutchison and Nelson homes at 5:30pm on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. All home groups will be participating in sermon review throughout the fall. We encourage you to take notes throughout the service to supplement your conversation during home groups.

God of Freedom: Women’s Bible Study
Ladies, join us for a Bible study through the book of Exodus starting on Tuesday, September 13th at 6:30pm. The study will be a video based study led by Sheryl Nelson. Guest Speaker: Rodney Hammer
Rodney Hammer will be the guest speaker during our 10:30am worship service on Sunday, July 17th. Dr. Rodney Hammer joined BRKC in October of 2008 as the Executive Director of Missions. Before coming on staff with BRKC, he served for 18 years with the Southern Baptist Convention’s International Mission Board. Awana Bible Club 2022-2023
Awana Bible Club is for children 3 years old (must be potty trained) – 6th grade that meets 6:30pm-8:00pm every Wednesday evening throughout the school year. Awana students are invited to join us for dinner at 6:00pm before the club begins at 6:30pm.

Church Picnic 2022
We will meet at Freedom Park in Grandview from 5pm-7pm on Sunday, July 3rd. Drinks and chicken will be provided and all sides or desserts will be potluck.

Backyard Bible Club with CEF
On Monday, June 20th to Friday, June 24th, from 10:30am-noon, we will partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) to host a Backyard Bible Club. The club will be held at Oak Tree Square Apartments, right behind the church, on those dates. We need volunteers to help promote the club beforehand and to help during the actual club. If you are interested, sign up in the hallway.

Vacation Bible School: Monumental
Every year in July, First Baptist Church hosts its annual Vacation Bible School. We offer teaching, crafts, snacks, games, missions and music all centered around one biblical theme. With focused attention given to every age group, we welcome all children entering Kindergarten – entering 6th grade. Harry’s Hay Days – 2022
On Saturday, May 7th, from 10:00am-4:00pm, First Baptist Church will be participating in the citywide festival called, “Harry’s Hay Days.” We will be hosting carnival games, face painters, balloon artists, Chick-fil-A, Life 88.5 and more, right here in our parking lot.
