Our vision at the First Baptist Church of Grandview is to see God’s glory displayed in Grandview, Missouri and all around the world. To accomplish this, our mission as First Baptist Church is to declare and to demonstrate the saving power of God in Jesus Christ.
- The First Baptist Church of Grandview has been active in the Grandview area since the church’s foundation in 1848, then under the name of the United Baptist Church of Jesus Christ.
- We have been in our present location on the corner of 15th and Main Street since 1950.
- We are a part of the Blue River – Kansas City Baptist Association
- Pastor Michael Nelson has been leading First Baptist since 2015.
